Disciple
Become disciples through Bible study.
If you have done Connections and you are looking to go on a journey that will really submerge you totally in the deep currents of the Scriptures – then Disciple, prepared by world-renowned theologians – comes highly recommended.
Disciple is a year-long course – 34 weeks with some breaks in-between. It demands about 30 – 45 minutes per day of reading the Scriptures which fosters an incredible daily drinking! The group also gathers together once a week for 2 ½ hours.
Diversity Engagement
Learning how to ‘do difference differently’ is the purpose of this thought-provoking weekend-long course. Diversity Engagement aims to hi-light (within a safe and caring environment) our prejudices and those in our society. We are challenged to become aware of our biases, to explore the reality of our intolerances in our own lives and in society, to deepen our understanding of the causes and effects of these intolerances, and to gain insight and understanding of diversity management and its impact on individuals and organisations.
Manna & Mercy
Manna & Mercy – written and illustrated by an amazing friend of Jesus, Dan Erlander – forms the basis of this innovative teaching retreat that facilitates a journey through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation in one weekend. The Bible is meant to be an instrument of God to enable abundant life for God’s creation. Sadly, through the ages it has been read and interpreted in such a way that it has been used as an instrument of human domination and death.
