1976 Remembered

1976 remembered – quest for equal education

16 June 1976 will always be remembered as the day of the Soweto Uprisings. These uprisings spread quickly throughout South Africa at the time in protest when Afrikaans [and  English] was made a compulsory subject in all schools. This yellow banner was produced to remember the courageous youth of then and now.
